Written Rumination

I'm a gloriously happy spouse, a wonderfully amazed parent, and a full-time career worker. Writing is my outlet, and a secret passion. If you've read my work, this is my little NSFW corner of the web where you can ask me anything. I might not answer, if the question is too personal, but you can still ask. :)
Who I Follow

Is a new installment of Futa Tales roomies coming out soon? Or ever?
red-skyes red-skyes Said:

At some point, yes. I’m about two-thirds of the way through it.

Asker Anonymous Asks:
Are you still writing?
red-skyes red-skyes Said:

When I can! :) Mostly though, as of late, I’ve been editing and reading. I owe an editing job to Blind_Justice and I’m trying to finish that up. It’s no chore, believe me. I love reading his stories. Editing one and being part of his creative process is a blast. I read when there’s not enough time to write, which is pretty much the norm, I’m afraid. I get about twenty minutes a day to write, which is what I was doing just before taking a moment to answer your question, actually.

Asker Anonymous Asks:
What made you wanna write about futa? Your work is so very very good.
red-skyes red-skyes Said:

Thank you! :) Honestly, the best explanation is on my Me page, here. Lately, I’m finding that I have to be in a very particular headspace to write futa stories. No idea why though.

Hope the new house is going well. Just wondering if we will be seeing something soon? Re-reading Strange Days has me wanting more. Have you ever considered short stories or "What If" scenarios based in the Strange Days world?
red-skyes red-skyes Said:

God, I hope so. I still write, but it’s nowhere near as much as I’d like. I’ve written in the Strange Days universe and outside of it. SciFi, fantasy, urban fantasy, romance, a bit of kink. All over the map, really, but nothing finished. I just don’t have the time to fully invest in a project. Each story I start is getting smaller and smaller. I have a stand-alone Futatale completed, but I’m not confident enough to release it. It needs a touch more work and I just haven’t had time. I also have a nearly completed chapter of Roomies, but again, not enough time to finish it.

Your last question has me intrigued though. What kinds of “What If” stories? Could you give me an example?

Been a while since we've heard from you. How's life going?
red-skyes red-skyes Said:

Ridiculously busy. :) We bought a house. One we can grow into and hopefully retire out of when it’s time, though that’s a ways off. There are a lot of home projects to do, and very little time to do them. I write when I can, but it isn’t much. I finally – finally! – found time to really start editing a story by Blind_Justice, and I’m rather enjoying the process.

Oh, and now that we have a pool, I’m swimming a lot. Like, a lot. :)

Progress?
red-skyes red-skyes Said:

Some, but nowhere near as much as I’d like. My time is extremely limited these days. :(
